KUMANOYUSHI Horse Oil Body Soap is a popular Japanese onsen product since it contains highly nourishing natural pure horse oil. Horse Oil has long been used by indigenous residents of Hokkaido for many purposes including the treatment of skin wounds, soothe rough/chapped skin, as its constitution is very similar to body's natural fat constitution, it has high penetrative abilities and hence, is able to keep the skin moisturized for long periods of time.

Contains other moisturizing ingredients such as seaweed and tsubaki oil.

    How to use

    Take an appropriate amount to the towel or sponge moistened with hot water, wash from the lather lightly, please then sink.

    Honestly trying new body wash is like going to war. It is either I get super itchy after the bath or I my skin isn't hydrated enough but this body wash has been super. The smell is also really good, knowing that there was horse oil I was expecting to be smelling well like oil but nope this body wash just hit me with a very good aroma. Love this purchase for myself

    AWESOME BODYWASH HERE!!!

    To be completely honest, it took me some time to warm up to the idea of using a personal care product such as bodywash that contained horse oil, but I asked my Japanese friends if I should take the plunge - they said YES and so I did. I regret not trying it any sooner. The first time I tried it, I will admit that there was an ever slight, sliiiiight itch, but I figured it was my sensitive skin reacting to a new formula. That was it because after that first time, it was all good! It's a clear, viscous formula that turns into a creamy foam once it starts to lather with your washcloth or loofah. It rinses completely and leaves your skin hydrated for a few minutes after your bath, but I highly recommend using a body lotion to seal in the hydration.

    The best body wash I have purchased in years. Great cleanser that does not strip your skin or clog your pores! it is super hydrating with a lite scent. Worth every penny!
