Japanese skincare technology has always been two steps ahead of Western skincare. Their exfoliator space is no exception.

The most famous exfoliator is easily the Cure Natural Aqua Gel exfoliator.

It has 90% activated hydrogen water, packed with antioxidants, and works to exfoliate the upper layer of dead, dry skin. Because of it's gel texture and gentle ingredients, this is a great alternative to harsh physical exfoliators (no walnuts in this exfoliator!).

How do you use it?

The beauty of this exfoliator is that it comes out as a clear gel, like a cleanser might. Then, as you gently rub it on clean, dry skin, you can start to feel dry skin flakes pilling off -- it's quite an experience. Rub in circular motions for 30 seconds and then rinse off.

What you're left with is beautifully soft, baby-smooth skin, thanks to the upper layer of skin cells being washed away. It leaves behind no residue and preps your skin for the rest of your skincare routine.

Want to see it in action?

You can watch a product demo on our co-founder's face (Gillian) as she uses the Cure Natural Aqua Gel exfoliator on her bare face. Watch and follow us on Tiktok and Instagram @kiyoko.beauty.
