    Healing

I had stubborn scabs from accutane that wouldn't heal no matter what I used. I tried many moisturizers, cerave, a layer of Vaseline, aquaphor. Nothing worked. I used this and in a matter of a few days the scabs healed and redness decreased dramatically. Definitely useful on days where you might be using a retinol.
It's a thick cream, like a body butter that takes a few minutes to soak in, and it definitely has a strong sake smell. So it's not going to make you feel fancy but it gets the job done.

    Smooth Skin

I love the Kikumasamune brand and this cream is no exception. Dry Canadian winters tend to take a toll on my poor skin, but regular use of this cream has kept my skin plump and healthy with no flaking, itching, or discomfort even in this intense winter we've had. Holy grail for sure.
