ONSENSOU was born in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture, Japan's hot spring capital with the most springs in the country. Inspired by the question, "Why do hot springs improve skin?" years of research led to the discovery of unique "hot spring algae" and "hot spring yeast." These microorganisms, found in hot springs, are now the key ingredients in ONSENSOU's Japanese hair care series.
