As you work the plant-derived cellulose onto the skin, it gently exfoliates away dead skin cells. It also contains prunus mume flower water (plum blossom), which moisturizes and refreshes the skin as you massage in the product. Gommage type exfoliants are the gentlest among the physical exfoliants.
